USIT Awards 2012

Applications are now open for the latest USIT (Utilities and Service Industries Training Limited) CPD Awards.

 

CPD AWARDS

USIT will pay delegate fees and up to £100 expenses* for attendance at the following seminars being run by SBGI in 2012:

Data & Communications Management, 30 May, Savoy Place, London more info

 

Utility Metering, 20 September, Motor Cycle Museum, Birmingham more info

(*Maximum five places available at each event. Places offered on a first come first served basis)

 

As well as hearing from key influential speakers, both seminars will be supported by informative and topical exhibitions showcasing the latest technologies and solutions.

BUSINESS SKILLS AWARDS

 

Entries are also now open for the USIT Business Skills Award. Offering sponsorship of up to £7,500 to attend an established academic or training course in the UK, this award is primarily designed to assist individuals to benefit from opportunities that would not normally be available to them from their employer’s ongoing training and development support arrangements.

 

The award will concentrate on assisting individuals of any discipline and level who are striving to develop their career in a manner which is seen to be of benefit to the utilities industry.

 

To enter the Business Skills Award, candidates must submit a short paper (max 1000 words) outlining why they want the sponsorship and how they expect to benefit, and complete an application form which can be downloaded here. These will need to be returned to caroline@sbgi.org.uk or by post to Caroline Taylor, SBGI, Camden House, Warwick Road, Kenilworth Warwickshire CV81TH. The closing date for the Business Skills Award is 23 March.
