Job Description
Our client designs and manufactures aerostructures for both the civil and military aerospace markets. They are currently seeking a Research and Technology Engineer with experience in Mathematical Algorithms.
Mathematical algorithm Research, Technology and Development Engineer for decision support and advanced data analysis.
Research, design and develop mathematical algorithms for advanced data-analysis.
Work closely with the technical fellow and analytics applications team to develop core toolsets.
Experience or knowledge of mathematical modelling techniques pertaining to prediction, anomaly modelling, reasoning and optimisation (example probabilistic graphical modelling, statistics, or artificial intelligence)
Experience of MATLAB
Interdisciplinary communication to forge connections with diverse domain specialists
Understanding of sorting and optimisation algorithms
Appreciation of computational complexity theory
Strong OO experience, preferably .NET
Knowledge of design patterns
