Five Year Strategy: 2011 - 2016

To improve the SBGI’s effectiveness in achieving all its ongoing objectives – in particular:

To identify and pursue appropriate opportunities for growing SBGI through the provision of services to other relevant organisations and/or through realignment with such organisations.
To identify and pursue appropriate opportunities for growing SBGI through the development of services for sectors within the energy and utility industry not currently serviced by the operational divisions and for the energy and utilities industry as a whole.
To grow the operational divisions and support them in the implementation of their respective business plans.
To develop common services for all members.
To develop appropriate and effective support services for the secretariat team and serviced organisations.
To ensure that full advantage is taken of the facilities at Camden House in pursuing the previous objectives with a view to the premises becoming progressively recognised as a significant hub for the energy and utilities sector.
