Scope & Purpose

Primary Scope and Purpose

To facilitate discussion and to initiate and undertake collective action to develop the market for water treatment products and systems within the UK domestic heating market

Objectives

a) To inform manufacturers about changes to legislation, schemes and other issues affecting water treatment
b) To encourage the development of performance standards for water treatment products
c) To identify opportunities to promote water treatment as part of the HHIC marketing communications activity
d) To provide representation and input to HHIC discussions with Government and other key stakeholders

Main Activities

a) To meet on a regular basis to enable members to discuss how to pursue the above objectives and any other issues of mutual interest
b) To establish and maintain a network of relevant contacts in Industry, Government and other relevant organisations and companies
