Scope & Purpose


Primary Scope & Purpose

Provide a forum to initiate and undertake collective action to develop and grow the domestic heating and hot water market through effective communications to all stakeholders


Objectives

a) Establish a marketing and communications strategy for inclusion in the HHIC Business Plan
b) Prepare costed plans for approval by the HHIC Board for inclusion in the HHIC Budget
c) Oversee the delivery of the Marketing and Communications Strategy and activity plans through a range of media


Main activities

(a) Meet on a regular basis in order to pursue the above objectives
(b) Commission and undertake projects and activities
(c) Review progress against plans
(d) Liaise with Government and other organisations to leverage the quality of communication activity and ensure consistency of message
(e) Investigate opportunities for collaboration with other organisations as appropriate 
(f) Investigate opportunities for re-investment and revenue generation as appropriate
(g) Report on a regular basis to the HHIC Board
