Scope & Purpose

Primary Scope and Purpose

To facilitate discussion and to initiate and undertake collective action to address issues that impact on the hot water sector of the domestic heating market.

Objectives

a) To inform manufacturers about changes to legislation, schemes and other issues affecting the hot water industry
b) To facilitate discussion between the hot water sector and other parts of the heating industry
c) To identify opportunities to promote the hot water sector as part of the HHIC Marcomms activity
d) To provide representation and input to HHIC discussions with Government and other key stakeholders

Main Activities

a) To meet on a regular basis to enable members to discuss how to pursue the above objectives and any other issues of mutual interest
b) To establish and maintain a network of relevant contacts in Industry, Government and other relevant organisations and companies

Membership

Membership will be open to all manufacturers and suppliers of hot water storage products and systems that are full members of HHIC.
