Objectives

a) To identify actual and potential constraints on the development of the UK market for DCHP – eg energy policy, legal, regulatory, technical, skills, market structure – and to plan and initiate/undertake action to influence or remove them as appropriate.
b) To promote the benefit of DCHP to key decision makers – eg housing developers, Local Authorities, housing associations, architects, specifiers, managers of relevant energy efficiency and fuel poverty schemes etc.
c) To encourage the provision and use of effective market support to stimulate early demand for DCHP on a significant scale.
d) To represent, promote and protect members’ interests in whatever other ways are considered appropriate.
e) To keep members informed of significant developments relevant to DCHP.
f) To provide members with opportunities for networking with each other and with key decision makers in Government and other organisations relevant to DCHP.

a) To meet on a regular basis in order to:
• Enable members to discuss how to pursue the above objectives and any other issues of mutual interest.
• Receive presentations from and engage in debate with representatives of Government or relevant organisations/companies.
b) To compile, maintain and implement an action plan – identifying priorities – for addressing likely constraints on the development of DCHP in the UK, for promoting the benefits of DCHP to key decision-makers and for encouraging the provision of effective market support.
